Yayasan Centre for Studying and Milieu Development of Indonesia (CESMiD) is a non-profit organization that fosters social justice and sustainable development through education, research, and community engagement. Guided by the motto "Advancing Knowledge, Empowering Communities," CESMiD provides capacity-building programs, publishes open-access academic works, and implements community empowerment initiatives. Its mission is to bridge the gap between academia and real-world challenges, promoting critical awareness and self-reliance among marginalized populations.
CESMID Indonesia provides capacity-building programs aimed at developing human resources through workshops, seminars, and critical education. These initiatives are designed to equip individuals and communities with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve self-reliance and contribute to a just society.
Focusing on social and humanitarian issues, CESMID facilitates empowerment initiatives such as skills training, reproductive health education, and the formation of community groups. The programs aim to address pressing social challenges, including poverty alleviation and HIV/AIDS prevention, while promoting sustainable community development.
As part of its academic contributions, CESMID publishes Open-Access scientific journals that explore education, research, and community issues. These publications aim to foster critical awareness, support evidence-based policy-making, and bridge the gap between academia and real-world challenges.
